Vandaag rustdag. Na hevige regenval vannacht ruikt alles heerlijk fris. Ook is er vandaag weer een Sara bij in Nederland. Gera is vandaag een halve eeuw oud geworden.
Deze morgen waren we uitgenodigd voor een kerkdienst hier ter plaatse in Masaya. Deze dienst werd voor ons vertaald. Dat was wel heel fijn want ons spaans laat nog wat te wensen over.
Na kerktijd hebben Jan en Ard pannenkoeken gebakken. Wat een lekkernij op zondagmiddag. we hebben er van gesmuld.
Na het eten was er een rustmoment wat iedereen op zijn/haar eigen manier heeft ingevuld. Aan het eind van de middag nog fijn een gedownloade preek geluisterd vanuit ons eigen Sion. Gewoon luisteren zonder dat het vertaald moet worden. Dat was fijn.We hebben onze tank weer vol, zowel geestelijk als lichamelijk.
Morgen onze laatste echte werkdag en wat niet afkomt gaan we dinsdagmorgen nog mee aan de slag. We hebben er weer zin in.

Fijn dat jullie ook zo naar een Ned kerkdienst konden luisteren en dan kerkmuren weg mogen vallen
De techniek staat dan voor niets en kunnen jullie er ook op een gezegende manier van gebruik maken en daar mogen we de Heere ook voor danken
In de dienst hier in Holland is bij mij zo blijven hangen het woordje BEN en AL van 1 Timotheüs 1:16
Dat we allemaal de voornaamste zondaar BLIJVEN ondanks dat er door Jezus Christus barmarhartigheid is gekregen en AL Zijn liefde je zou laten zien om een voorbeeld te zijn die ook in Hem geloven
En ook wat ik ook zo mooi vond het getal 7 het getal van de volheid
Oost West Noord Zuid vier vingers en van de andere hand erbij VADER ,ZOON ,HEILIGE GEEST maakt samen zeven en dat heeft HIJ in zijn hand
En dan kom ik op een gedichtje uit Dick weet het wel dat ik beter het zo kan omschrijven dan in woorden te zeggen
Het Leven doet denken aan een weg met heel wat bochten
Jullie zien steeds tot de volgende kromming
Maar het is genoeg dat God de gehele weg over ziet .
Ga zo de laatste werkdagen in laat zo daar alles achter als jullie straks naar huis gaan
En kijk zo vooruit ook in jullie eigen leven op de reis naar huis donderdag , in de week die voor jullie ligt en straks als jullie weer thuis zijn .
