Vanmorgen stond om 8.00 de bus al weer klaar om ons naar Laguna de Apoyo te brengen.
Dat is een heel groot meer wat gevormd is in een krater van een vulkaan. Het water was ontzettend helder en de temperatuur van het water was 25,2 graden (volgens Dick Electric). We hebben hier ontzettend genoten. Heerlijk ontspannen in het heerlijke water. En niet te vergeten, bommetje!! We hebben als groep heel veel plezier gehad. Genieten!!
We hebben daar onze lunch genuttigd en om 14.00 stond de bus al weer klaar om ons naar La Amistad te brengen. Een kort moment om ons op te frissen want we waren uitgenodigd voor een kerkdienst in Managua.
De auto’s stonden klaar om 15.30 om ons naar Managua te brengen. Dit was een rit van 45 minuten. Toen we aankwamen werden we hartelijk welkom geheten door de gemeente van Managua. Dit was een gemeente van ds Henk Minderhoud. We hebben de huisjes gezien die gebouwd waren door de bouwgroep uit Zeeland en Nieuw Lekkerland. Deze huisjes zijn op de bestaande huisjes gebouwd omdat er geen ruimte was om op een andere manier uit te breiden.Een prachtige oplossing! Wel merkten we hier ook het diepe verdriet dat leeft onder de gemeenteleden van de Iglesia Reformada. Ze missen hun pastor Enrique. Het is zo wonderlijk dat hier het werk toch doorgaat.
De mensen van deze gemeente riepen ons op om te blijven bidden. En zij bidden voor ons.
Weer voelden we de verbondenheid.En we voelden de ontzettende hitte in de kerk wat dus echt bij Nicaragua hoort. Wat ons bij blijft is de hartelijkheid en de liefde van deze mensen. Bovenal de liefde die we samen met hen mogen delen. De liefde van onze Heere Jezus.
We zien dat Henk Minderhoud het armste heeft opgezocht om daar te dienen. Dit is wat we vast moeten houden. Dienende liefde.

Het is hier bijna zondag en de kerkklokken gaan over een paar uurtjes roepen kom kom ga met ons naar Gods huis ⛪️
Voor jullie word het dan nacht en tijd om te gaan slapen ??en als het zondag is worden jullie om met Dick Nieuwrhuis te zeggen gewekt met hanengekraai?en hondengeblaf?
Geniet daar nog maar van want DV volgende week horen jullie dat verlopig niet meer ?
Ja Dick kan het weten na ongeveer 25 jaar elke dag zwemmen ??
Mooi meer is het daar en scheelt een douche ? en wat fijn dat jullie daar zo welkom zijn in de kerk en dat de mensen jullie zo waarderen
Moesten jullie de schoenen daar zo op een rij zetten of was dat zo maar een leuk idee ?
Sluit af met een gedichtje een paar dames hebben die al ontvangen tenminste als Dick de electricie de kaart gegeven heeft
Als ik terugblik zie ik Gods zegen
Kijk ik vooruit dan is er Gods trouw
Die nimmer zal einden
Maar eeuwig zal blijven
Als ik mij geheel aan ZIJN zorgen vertrouw
Dat geldt voor jullie voor de mensen in Nicaraqua maar ook voor hier .
Slaap lekker allemaal en morgen gezond weer op
Misschien te lang geschreven maar kon toch niet slapen

Maar ook wat een prachtig land, ondanks alle armoede, dit is iets wat je nooit weer zult vergeten, wij wensen jullie nog een paar fijne dagen toe.

Hallo vienden met het HART voor de armen in Nicaragua op de juiste plaats. Mooi is het om jullie op de blog te volgen. Allemaal bekende zaken komen ervoorbij. Zwemmen in laguna de Apoyo, wandelen op de Mombacho, regen, maar vooral ook de zonneschijn, maar bovenal ligt er veel emotie in de verbondenheid met deze verre naasten in het bieden van enige hulp.. Mensen die het veel minder hebben dan wij, maar toch zo positief in het leven staan. Mensen die zich afhankelijk weten van onze hulp, maar meer nog, afhankelijk weten van onze Schepper. God die elke dag weer de zon op doet gaan om nieuwe kansen te bieden, om Hem onze dank te bewijzen. Fijn dat jullie dit alles met elkaar mogen beleven en jullie tijd en energie hieroor willen geven. Voor vandaag een goede zondag en nog een fijne tijd toegewenst. Absorbeer alle ervaringen van deze weken, zodat je die op een later moment weer kan herbeleven.
