Na vier dagen hard werken, mocht iedereen vanmorgen uitslapen.Ondanks dit prettige vooruitzicht werden de meesten van ons toch om 6 uur wakker.We hebben al een behoorlijk ritme ontwikkeld. Na eerst de weekendboodschappen te hebben gedaan, stond de bus voor ons klaar om ons naar de vulkaan Mombacho te brengen. De Mombacho is niet meer actief en daardoor is er een prachtig natuurgebied ontstaan. Rond de kraters is het zelfs benoemd tot nationaal park. Vanaf de parkeerplaats beneden, werden we per truck naar boven gebracht. We hadden het gevoel dat we in een tandradbaan zaten, zo steil was de weg naar boven. Boven hebben we een wandeling rond de kraters gemaakt onder leiding van een gids. Het was een indrukwekkende wandeling van anderhalf uur. Wat is de schepping mooi.
Halverwege de afdaling was er een koffiestop op de koffieplantage.
Tegen 3 uur waren we weer in La Amistad.
De rest van de middag mochten we genieten van een welverdiende rust.
Helaas was er de hele dag geen stromend water ivm een gesprongen waterleiding in Masaya. Hoe afhankelijk we zijn van water hebben we gemerkt. Geen toilet doorspoelen, geen handen wassen en zeker niet douchen.
Belangrijk is van onze kant ook te melden, hoe fijn het is om ook de reacties van de lezers van ons weblog te lezen. Iedere avond worden ze hardop voorgelezen in onze groep. Dit meeleven doet ons erg goed. We voelen ons gesterkt. Fijn dat zoveel mensen met ons meeleven en voor ons bidden.

Een stukje ontspanning om dankbaar voor te zijn
Voor jullie nu allemaal straks slaap lekker en morgen gezond weer op en dan ook een gezellige dag bij alles wat jullie nog van plan zijn om te doen en voor ons word het Goede dag nu
Laat dag en nacht de Heere jullie als een wolkkolom en vuurkolom overschaduwen
dan zijn jullie allemaal in de beste handen Gods handen daar in Nica maar ook hier in Rijssen en waar ook te wereld

Ja daar zit je dan als achterblijvers in een regenachtig en fris Rijssen. Elke keer als we de verhalen lezen en de foto’s zien, beseffen we wat een geweldige indruk Nicuragua op juĺlie moet maken. De trip naar de vulkaan gisteren met kolibri’s in en bananen aan de bomen lijkt ons een onvergetelijke ervaring. Ja, met de foto’s op de blog kunnen we een heel klein beetje meebeleven hoe het er daar uitziet. Trouwens de foto’s brengen ook nog wat anders aan het licht; hoe moet het straks bij de poortjes op het vliegveld met al die mannen met baarden. Zien nog wel enige vertraging.
Beste mensen geniet nog van de tijd dat je daar bent, van de contacten met de mensen, van de natuur, kortom van alles wat je aan indrukken op doet. Het thuisfront kijkt uit, al duurt het nog een week, naar jullie verhalen en foto’s Goede zondag en de groeten uit Rijssen.
Geweldig!!!, wat mooi daar, en ook Welverdiend !!, een genot om naar de prachtige foto’s te kijken!!!
