Deze laatste volle werkdag was helaas een natte dag. Door de vele tropische buien zorgde dit voor enige vertraging bij de laatste schilderprojecten. Bij projecten 3 en 4 zijn door Jan de rozen aangebracht aan de muren van de huisjes. Deze rozen zijn een teken van het project ‘De rozen zullen bloeien’. Jan heeft daarvoor een mal gebruikt waardoor elk huis, ook de huizen van 2012, hetzelfde teken dragen. Bij project 1 zijn de deuren afgehangen en de luiken hangen in de kozijnen. De elektriciteit is voor het grootste gedeelde aangebracht. Waarschijnlijk zal dit morgen nog een uurtje werk zijn.
Het project bij de kerk ‘La Fuente’ waar de rest aan heeft gewerkt, bestond voor het grootste gedeelte uit schilderwerk. Vernislagen zijn aangebracht aan de luiken en kozijnen plus aan de steunbalken voor aan de kerk. Morgen zal dit waarschijnlijk ook afgerond zijn.
Vandaag was ook de laatste dag van het kinderwerk. Als afsluiting hebben we ervoor gezorgd dat alle kinderen aan het einde van de dag konden genieten van een lekker koud ijsje. Door de heftige regenval viel het aantal kinderen wat tegen, 53 in totaal. Het overgebleven ijs deelden we uit in de wijk. Dit zorgde voor vrolijke gezichten.
Wat een enorm mooi werk hebben jullie mogen doen. Veel sterkte bij de laatste loodjes, het pakken en de terugreis.
