Vanmorgen is een deel van de bouwgroep naar La Fuente gegaan om het schilderwerk af te maken.
Anderen bleven op La Amistad om de boodschappen te verzorgen. We merken dat we echt aan het afronden zijn. Even nadenken over de laatste dingen die nog gekocht moeten worden.
Om 13.30 met z’n allen verzamelen bij La Fuente om vervolgens met z’n allen de bouwprojecten op te leveren.
Allereerst naar het huis van Jimmy. Hier is een behoorlijk stuk bijgebouwd. De sleutels van het huis werden overgedragen met een sleutelhanger uit Nederland. Een echt Hollands symbool: een oranje klompje. Deze mensen waren heel dankbaar.
Daarna doorgereden naar het huisje van Mildred. Zij woonde in het zinken huis. Hier zijn twee prachtige kamertjes bijgebouwd. Hier kan ze fijn wonen met haar kinderen.
Ook hier werden de sleutels overgedragen. Weer hele blijde gezichten!
Vervolgens doorgereden naar een andere wijk. Hier werden extra ruimtes bijgebouwd zodat de kinderen die hier wonen allemaal een eigen plekje hebben. Broers en zussen kunnen nu gescheiden slapen en niet meer met een aantal personen in 1 bed.
Dan het huis van oma. Hier is ook ontzettend veel werk verzet. Oma kan nu rustig slapen in haar prachtige slaapkamer zonder dat ze bang hoeft te zijn dat haar huisje instort. Omdat in Nicaragua geregeld aardbevingen zijn, was dit haar grote angst.
Toen we alles bekeken hadden en alle sleutels overgedragen hadden werden we welkom geheten in de kerk van San Rafael. Er werd een meditatie gehouden over Psalm 23. Alle beloften die hier in staan werden genoemd. Heel bemoedigend. Ook werden we toegezongen door kinderen en jongeren. En er waren kinderen die een prachtige dans voor ons hadden ingestudeerd.
Aan het einde van de dienst hebben we als bouwgroep de gemeente ps. 134:3 toegezongen. Daarna kregen wij van de gemeente de zegen mee. Ook werden we allemaal verrast. Ze hadden voor iedereen een kadootje. Hartverwarmend. Deze mensen zijn steeds bezig met geven en wij mochten weer ontvangen. En we hadden al zoveel liefde ontvangen. Het was best emotioneel allemaal.
Toen we weer terug waren op La Amistad had Clara weer een heerlijke maaltijd bereid. We werden weer verrast. Twee kleinkinderen van Clara hadden een Nicaraguaanse dans ingestudeerd voor ons. Het was prachtig. Nu nog even gezellig bij elkaar zitten. Wat hebben we veel ervaringen opgedaan. En wat hebben we een fijne groep. God alle eer!

Hier ben ik weer om iets te schrijven
Wat dankbaar om zo terug te kunnen kijken naar dit project dat jullie allemaal met liefde afgerond hebt .
Wat fijn dat jullie de mensen in Nicaraqua zo naar de zin hebben kunnen maken .
Dat jullie ook van daar uit Gods zegen mee gekregen hebben om na de terugreis ieder op zijn of haar
manier het leven in Rijssen weer op te pakken .
Wat fijn maar bovenal wat veel om dankbaar voor te zijn dat het allemaal zo goed ging en jullie als groep zo fijn met elkaar om konden en kunnen gaan .
Het is niet het aantal dagen dat je met elkaar optrekt bepalen jullie geluk , maar vooral ook de manier waarop je ze doorbrengt met elkaar .
Jullie vertrouwden er op dat God nooit ergens aan begint en dat Hij het jullie maar af laat maken

Beste mensen, het zit er weer op. Als je er voor staat denk je , 3 weken is best wel lekker lang, maar we zijn ervan overtuigd dat het voor jullie omgevlogen is en je eigenlijk geschrokken bent dat je nu alweer naar huis moet. Dan worden de koffers weer gepakt , afscheid nemen van de geweldige dingen die jullie gedaan hebben maar vooral ook afscheid nemen van de mensen waarmee jullie in korte tijd een onvergetelijke band mee hebben opgebouwd. We weten vast “dat het niet droog blijft” , er worden nog wel een paar traantjes weggepinkt. Wat hebben jullie in opdracht van de Grote Bouwmeester prachtig werk verricht. Het is al enkele keren genoemd dat de onderlinge band uitstekend is, ook dat is een zegen, dat je samen terug mag zien op heerlijke tijd. Er zullen vast nog wel “dia avonden” komen waar herinneringen worden opgehaald en jullie het allemaal weer herbeleven. Tenslotte wensen we jullie goede reis en met Gods hulp een veilige thuiskomst.
N.B. Het was een plezier om elke morgen op de blog juĺlie te volgen met goede verhalen en prachtige foto’s.
